Hyperdome’s Scratch & Win competition drives strong app engagement during their VIP in-centre sales weekend.
Hyperdome Shopping Centre was activated with events, activations, prizes and music to celebrate their VIP Sales Weekend taking course from Friday – Sunday in June. An integral component of the campaign was a scratch & win competition executed on the app where users could scan a QR Code on a banner in-centre and scratch to reveal if they have won a $20 Hyperdome gift card.
This competition incorporated Norbits inventory control feature, which ensures the full prize pool is evenly distributed throughout the course of the campaign period. There’s nothing worse than only being able to visit on the last day of the campaign and hearing it’s all out of goodies! Utilising the Norbit scratch & win competition and the allocation feature, Hyperdome was able to successfully engage users with the app and the in-centre activation in a unique and exciting way. Not to mention, the eye-catching artwork drew new users who were browsing the centre.
Check out the banners below which were used to trigger the scratch card on the app. Any passerby who did not have the app, could scan this QR code with their phone camera to trigger the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store depending on the customer’s device, and download the app quickly and easily.
