ECQ drove Fresh Food with a Spend to Win mechanic that drove foot traffic to the fresh food stores and increased user activity on their Norbit App.
ECQ Rewards App customers were incentivised to spend $35 on fresh food and complete an in-app form with details of how much they spent and where. This would place them in a draw to win a $500 grocery voucher each week. Over the course of the 4-week campaign, each week’s dates were entered in Norbits’ built-in draw a dinner feature to select a customer who had entered. The winner was contacted via the app to provide the receipt which matched their form entry to be able to collect their prize.
This competition mechanic was great for driving customers to the fresh food category and getting users involved with the app. It was especially useful for data capture as the centre gained a unique insight into how much their customer’s average spend was in the category and how many shoppers were choosing to shop where.
