Kids Eat Free

Two Frasers Property centres have launched an innovative Kids Eat Free campaign that significantly increased in-centre activity.

The month-long campaign encouraged users to visit participating retailers from Thursday to Sunday, and redeem the in-app reward to receive $10 off any kids meal. This campaign had never been implemented at these centres, so multiple social posts and app notifications were made to build awareness.

The campaign was live during the month of August to drive visitation and support to the food and beverage retailers during the winter evenings.

The reward gained over 800 redemptions between the two centres, incentivising many families to dine in-centre, driving foot traffic and awareness to the food precincts. Furthermore, each centre recorded an increase in active sessions of over 60% and 70% compared to the previous month. Collectively, both centres gained more than 1000 users throughout the campaign.

Using a single reward to engage new and existing customers makes this campaign simple yet effective. The redemption process was easily grasped by both retailers and customers. It is a prime example of how even simple campaign ideas can create a new and exciting customer experience.
